Dean’s Message

Rohilkhand Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, a constituent college of Bareilly International University, Bareilly has been established with an aim to produce quality Ayurvedic graduates impregnated with necessary basic knowledge of contemporary modern medical science which would serve humanity.

As compared to modern medical science, objective of Ayurveda is primarily “Health oriented” of course treating the ailing humanity with minimal and negligible unwanted effects.

Ayurveda has repeatedly proving its utility on all frontiers of global health challenges whether it be Non-communicable, Communicable and auto-immune diseases or preventive and promotive health.

Following the worldwide recognition of potentials of Ayurveda, specially in post-covid-era and establishment of Global Centre for Traditional Medicine at Jamnagar, India, it seems to be accepted that Ayurveda has got the strength to lead the global health needs as an alternative to frontline modern medical science.

Bareilly being the centerstage educational hub midway between Lucknow & Delhi, has been blessed with vast biodiversity in its neighborhood viz. Jim Corbett National Park, Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, Dudhwa National Park, which is very fruitful to provide in-situ quality education with special reference to herbal resources in their natural habitat.

Management & administration of Rohilkhand Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, B.I.U., Bareilly is committed to ensure above aims and objectives with a dedicated team of learned faculty members, consultants, paramedical & office staff along with a state-of-art infrastructure as per NCISM norms and in co-ordinance with NEP-2020, provided we continue to have good & willing students which really aim to serve humanity with excellence of ancient & noble science of life, the one and only AYURVEDA.
